KUALA LUMPUR, 18 June 2019 – Part of Jalan Sultan Ismail slip road heading towards the SMART Tunnel will be temporarily closed. The closure will take effect from 20^th June 2019 until 20^th September 2020.

Motorists can still access the SMART tunnel from Jalan Sultan Ismail without using the slip road, as illustrated in the plan below.

As part of the initiatives to ensure safety of motorists and seamless traffic, a traffic light system will be installed at the intersection of Jalan Barat and Jalan Sultan Ismail as shown in the plan.

To ensure the safety of motorists and to avoid confusion, traffic users are advised to adhere to all traffic lights and signboards. Any inconvenience caused is very much regretted.
